Role Description
The Investment Services Product organization is recruiting for an experienced individual to serve as a Fund Accounting and Administration Product Development Lead within its Fund Services product organization.
This role partners with FAA Product leads, the Head of Fund Services Product Development, Operations and Technology to execute overall FAA product development initiatives aligned with strategic agendas and roadmaps. It focuses on managing multiple development teams on individual priorities that strengthen State Street’s industry position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic initiatives within fund accounting and administration.
- Manage multiple projects and teams across various roadmaps.
- Develop and analyze product change and business cases.
- Design and enhance FAA operating models and technology standards.
- Support rationalization of tech stacks and legacy migration efforts.
- Coordinate regulatory, financial, tax, and compliance reporting.
- Promote Agile practices and review documentation for clarity.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors.
- Assess build versus buy opportunities and support data modeling.
- Ensure risks and issues are properly escalated.
Skills & Experience
A successful candidate will have:
- Strong fund accounting knowledge (IFRS, US GAAP, NAV construction, complex asset classes).
- Expertise in fund administration (financial, regulatory reporting, tax administration, compliance).
- Experience managing large teams and complex projects using Agile and Waterfall.
- Ability to articulate impacts, prepare business cases, and mentor junior team members.
- Proven track record in driving transformation in global organizations.
- Experience with AI integration in Product Development Life Cycle is preferred.
