Who We Are Looking For
The Hedge Fund Accounting & Administration Officer at State Street interacts with professionals at all levels, requiring exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate initiative, work well under pressure and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Manage day-to-day team activities, resources, and personnel issues.
- Supervise subordinate staff including Associate 1, Associate 2, and Senior Associates.
- Deliver high quality client service with appropriate KPIs.
- Produce and review KPIs, acting as escalation point for operational issues.
- Track queries and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain internal standards and ensure adherence to policies.
- Create continuous improvement forums and support onboarding of new clients.
- Communicate key messages effectively and foster staff engagement.
- Develop and retain a leading workforce, providing coaching and SME training.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and internal reporting.
- Collaborate on projects and committees across local, regional, and global teams.
Additional Requirements
- Bachelor of Science required; preferred in Accounting/Finance.
- Minimum 5+ years in hedge fund accounting, fund accounting, hedge fund of fund, or audit experience.
- Complex allocation knowledge required; good Excel knowledge preferred.
- Geneva experience required.
- Ability to coach, develop staff and deliver timely performance reviews.
- Strong focus on risk and compliance management.
Salary Range
$75,000 - $127,500 Annual. The quoted range applies to the role in the primary location specified. Adjustments may apply based on final work location.
