About the Role
The Hedge Fund Accounting & Administration Officer at State Street is responsible for directing day-to-day accounting and administration for several client sponsored investment funds. The role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and supervise team members (Associate 1, Associate 2, and Senior Associates).
- Ensure quality client service and uphold appropriate KPIs.
- Act as escalation point and technical expert for operational issues.
- Handle queries efficiently while maintaining risk and compliance standards.
- Support onboarding of new clients and coordinate client change activities.
- Participate in internal reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to staffing decisions including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
Additional Requirements
Provide coaching and development opportunities, complete timely performance reviews, and ensure adherence to risk excellence and ethical decision making. Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver consistent service and client solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary ranges from $65,000 to $102,500 annually, with access to a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, insurance coverage, paid time off, and performance-based incentives.
