About the Role: Head of Transfer Agency Projects and Business Support

This role leads client onboarding, business analysis, testing, system implementation and production support services for the Transfer Agency business in Australia. You will support the Head of Business Support and Global Delivery teams on project implementations, change initiatives, and client onboarding, while also providing project management for key strategic projects.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Business Analysis: Deliver all Transfer Agency Projects for the Australian business by documenting requirements, engaging technology vendors, coordinating with IT on deployments, creating test plans, testing, releasing documentation and training the business.

Create and manage project plans and trackers for implementations and client delivery. Participate in monthly SLA and governance meetings with IT heads, manage production issues, support vendor management, onboard new business including data migration and analysis, and support client transitions.

Additionally, handle Information Security Risk Management and Third Party Risk Management issues, support resource allocation, and assist with compliance and funding business cases.

Knowing Your Clients (Internal / External)

Establish strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors, understand client organizations, and ensure commitments are delivered within budget and on time in collaboration with State Street IT teams.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

Improve processes to mitigate risk by recommending and implementing better controls and procedures following best practice change management techniques. Support State Street’s risk management and compliance goals.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Possession of robust business analysis and project management skills, with a strong knowledge of managed funds, Transfer Agency operational flows, and IT infrastructure. Finance experience with a Transfer Agency background is desired.
