Overview

State Street is seeking a Head of Ireland Regulatory Affairs responsible for driving strategic relationships with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI). This role involves liaising with regulators, providing insights into regulatory examinations, and ensuring timely and high quality regulatory submissions.

Regulatory Liaison

The candidate will act as the primary liaison with the CBI by ensuring all regulatory deliverables are met in a timely manner and by providing insightful analysis of the regulator's priorities.

  • Deliver best in class service to the CBI.
  • Assist in regulatory notifications and drafting responses.
  • Provide analysis of CBI priorities to senior management.

Internal Stakeholder Management

This role requires strategic communication across State Street's leadership. Key functions include arranging regulatory meetings, preparing briefing notes, coordinating regulatory examinations, and tracking regulatory actions to ensure compliance with standards.

Regulatory/Internal Reporting

The role involves preparing updates for the CBI, monthly interactions, compliance risk reports, and summaries of regulatory publications for internal stakeholders. Contributions to compliance newsletters are also expected.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

A relevant degree is required. Candidates must have a technical specialization in the Irish regulatory regime, preferably with experience in regulatory relations or supervision/enforcement roles. Experience in the custody and funds sector is an advantage.

Work Model & Company Culture
