About the Role
As a Fund Accounting & Administration Assistant Vice President at State Street, you will supervise and mentor colleagues at the associate levels, manage client relationships, and oversee the quarterly and annual financial work paper packages including portfolio schedules, accruals, and PCAP allocations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor associate-level colleagues.
- Manage client relationships with investors, auditors, and legal teams.
- Review quarterly/annual financial work papers, statements, and footnotes.
- Prepare and review annual tax workpapers, capital calls, and distribution documents.
- Coordinate annual audits and tax return preparation with Big 4 firms.
- Ensure compliance with investment fund legal documents and partnership agreements.
- Identify and report unusual or potentially suspicious transactions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- 5-6 years of Fund Accounting experience with 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with alternative investment asset classes, complex fund structures, and fee calculations.
- Working knowledge of MRI, Oracle Financials, and Yardi is a plus.
