Overview

The Business Continuity & Risk Manager at the State of Minnesota plays a vital role within the Department of Children, Youth & Families. This role supports agency-wide compliance, risk management, and business continuity functions with a focus on disaster recovery, business impact analysis, and robust planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate business continuity strategies and plans.
• Plan and manage operations before, during, and after disruptions.
• Serve as project manager for disaster recovery and compliance office activities.
• Develop risk management frameworks and implement recovery procedures.
• Collaborate across divisions to drive process improvements and policy implementations.

Qualifications

Minimum: 4 years of project management experience in business continuity and risk management, with strong analytical, planning, and communication skills. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, relevant certifications in compliance and business continuity.

Additional Information
