About the Role

Advisory Board Member – Corporate Operations at Starch is a part-time, remote role designed for experienced operations leaders who have built and optimized high-performing organizations. This role guides the founding team on structure, systems, hiring, tooling, and efficient scaling.

What You’ll Do

  • Join quarterly advisory sessions (remote, 1–2 hours each) with the founding team.
  • Share frameworks and advice on company operations, hiring, and internal processes.
  • Offer guidance on workplace systems, people ops, and organizational efficiency.
  • Optionally advise on short projects or audits between sessions (paid hourly).

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10+ years of experience in corporate operations, people, or business management.
  • Experience as a COO, Chief of Staff, Director of Operations, or Workplace Experience lead.
  • A systems-thinker who’s scaled teams, built culture, or implemented structure in growth environments.
  • Excited to mentor a young founding team and help shape the backbone of an early-stage company.
