Job Description

Retail Operations Supervisor

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in driving sales and operational excellence. You will lead by example, delivering inspiring customer service to exceed our customers' expectations. You prioritize continuous improvement to ensure high performance and adherence to merchandising and brand standards.

Additionally, you will oversee and manage all aspects of store operational excellence, including merchandising, product flow, promotions, and executive office tasks, including cash office administration and reporting. As a key holder, you will act as the leader on duty, supporting programs and training throughout the store.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Lead by example and teach sales model behaviors, engage with customers, and motivate associates to do the same. Ensure a seamless customer experience using all available tools and techniques.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of inventory and merchandising standards in partnership with the management team, including ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers daily, visual merchandising, promotion preparation, and display. Supervise the organization and management of back-of-house tasks and provide regular reports on stock levels and sales trends related to operational excellence.
  • Training and Development: Support the training, development, and coaching of associates. Play a supporting role in performance and training conversations for a high-performance, sales-driven culture.
  • Communication: Facilitate clear and timely communication for associates, create and lead meetings, and ensure efficient store operation by quickly resolving any issues.
  • Health and Safety: Support health and safety policies and procedures, conduct regular inspections, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage executive office tasks, including the administration of weekly cash office reports. Ensure accurate and consistent cash office management.

Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of prior retail customer service experience.
  • 1 to 2 years of prior supervisory experience with direct responsibility for meeting sales and service goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong visual merchandising skills.
