Overview
The Structural Design Lead at Stantec offers a leadership opportunity for an experienced structural engineer to head the structures team. The role involves technical and commercial oversight of project design and team management in support of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational and commercial performance reporting at Director/MD level.
- Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers and technicians.
- Ensure high-quality design deliverables.
- Manage interactions with clients, stakeholders, and subconsultants.
- Oversee project budgets, resource delegation, and team recruitment.
- Engage in business development including tender and bid management.
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant third level engineering degree (Level 8 or higher).
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen in structural engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
