Overview
The Palantir Architect Lead FDE role is designed for experienced senior or lead Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) with extensive Palantir Foundry experience. In this role, you will serve as a technical design authority, designing and building production-grade solutions using Palantir Foundry, while working closely with senior stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Foundry Solution Design & Build: Own end-to-end solution design including data integration, ontology modelling, application layer construction, and implementation of CI/CD strategies.
Scalability, Reliability & Operations: Lead performance tuning and design monitoring for large-scale deployments, incident response, and enforcement of non-functional requirements.
Client-Facing Engineering & Stakeholder Management: Translate business needs into technical designs, present architectures, and provide technical guidance during integration with enterprise systems.
Enablement, Mentoring & Standards: Deliver technical bootcamps, mentor engineers, and enforce coding and design standards.
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- Extensive experience with Palantir Foundry and FDE roles.
- Proven track record in multiple large-scale Foundry implementations.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and modern software practices.
- Experience with programming languages like Python or Java for integrations and transformations.
- Solid understanding of enterprise identity, security permissions, and CI/CD pipelines.
Profile
Candidates must be technically adept, a systems thinker, and an effective communicator capable of translating low-level detail to high-level strategy. Enjoy debugging and building reusable, maintainable solutions.
