Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Associate, you will contribute to a wide range of services aimed at fostering hope, healing, and empowerment within the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, common areas, and program spaces including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Empty, clean, and replace liners in trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
- Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms, kitchens, and breakrooms to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Wash windows, walls, and interior glass as needed.
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
- Participate in seasonal and special cleaning projects like carpet shampooing and deep sanitization.
- Assist with room setup and takedown for meetings, events, and programs.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment per procedures.
- Manage custodial supply inventory and communicate needs to the Facilities Manager.
- Support agency safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred along with knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, safety standards, and custodial equipment. Dependability, self-motivation, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
This is an on-site position requiring physical activity such as bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional driving and attendance at meetings or events outside normal hours may be required. Reasonable accommodations are provided for individuals with disabilities.
