Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Associate East Campus, you will contribute to a wide range of services aimed at fostering hope, healing, and empowerment within the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Empty, clean, and replace liners in trash and recycling receptacles.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms, kitchens, and breakrooms.
• Wash windows, walls, and interior glass as needed.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Participate in seasonal and special cleaning projects.
• Assist with room setup and takedown for meetings and events.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain custodial supply inventory and communicate needs.
• Support agency safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred. Applicants should possess a sound knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and the use of custodial equipment. Dependability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team are critical.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This position is on-site and may require attendance at occasional meetings or events outside regular business hours. The role involves working with sensitive information, direct interaction with individuals or families in crisis, and various physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
