Sr. Software QA Engineer

Role Overview

As a Sr. Software QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of SS&C Technologies' systems. You will meticulously plan, execute, and document testing activities while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements and maintain system integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-quality test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
• Produce clear and comprehensive testing documentation.
• Execute thorough testing activities using structured test plans and appropriate tools.
• Identify, log, and track software defects for efficient resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Develop a strong understanding of SS&C systems and technologies.
• Apply industry knowledge to assess system functionality.
• Develop and execute test automation and perform regression testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing across full stack applications, including API testing.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) scenarios.
• Experience with a variety of testing types (Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting, with Agile/Scrum experience.
• Retirement Solutions domain knowledge is a plus.
