About the Role

Squishable is seeking a digitally savvy Director of Marketing to lead brand growth through innovative, community-driven campaigns. Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, you will shape and execute digital-first strategies, manage social content, influencer and affiliate collaborations, and performance-driven advertising initiatives. You will handle a small internal team and coordinate with external partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and lead Squishable’s marketing strategy across social, digital, influencer, PR, and experiential channels.
  • Oversee trend-driven content development to create viral brand moments.
  • Manage influencer and affiliate marketing campaigns from ideation to performance analysis.
  • Leverage platforms like TikTok for content creation, Shop integration, and live selling.
  • Coordinate marketing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Conceptualize and execute in-person activations including events, pop-ups, and retail stunts.
  • Monitor campaign performance, report insights, and refine strategies based on data.
  • Lead and mentor the growing marketing team while collaborating with internal and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years marketing experience in consumer goods such as toys, fashion, or lifestyle.
  • Proven success in running digital-first campaigns and in-person activations.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with creative vision and meticulous organization.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, especially TikTok Shop and influencer marketing.
  • A genuine passion for quirky, delightful, and plush products.

Details

Location: New York City (4+ days/week in-office)

Salary Range: $120k - $140k plus bonus opportunity
