Senior Technical Program Manager at Squarespace
The Squarespace Technical Program Management (TPM) team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to support our mission of helping teams to deliver top company priorities with efficiency and predictability. In this role, you will work with the Revenue Systems group, collaborating closely across Product Management, Engineering, and Finance teams. Your responsibilities will include ensuring clear project/program planning, transparent progress tracking, risk mitigation, team process improvement, and efficient delivery.
This is a NYC-based role working from our office 2 days per week. You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Program Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating clear & helpful plans throughout product discovery and delivery (scope, milestones, tasks, roles and responsibilities, risk mitigation, etc.)
- Breaking down silos and bridging communication gaps across teams (Product, Engineering, Finance, etc.)
- Driving discovery momentum from ideation to defined scope and requirements
- Tracking project status and reporting updates to project stakeholders
Who We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in a technical program manager (or similar) position, working through all phases of the product and software development lifecycle, influencing without direct authority and with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working collaboratively across organizations, influencing without direct authority.
- Experience effectively managing change, pushing through friction and setbacks, and displaying leadership when juggling at-times conflicting business needs.
- Experience working with/managing engineering-driven projects with stakeholders across Product and Engineering.
- Experience facilitating team level process improvement, as well as the creation and maintenance of roadmaps and project dashboards, coordinating across multiple teams and focused on best practices.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira.
- Scrum Master certification a plus.

Compensation
The cash compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000 USD. The base salary will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location. In addition to cash compensation, Squarespace employees are eligible for stock options. Sales positions may also offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure.
