Overview
Squarespace is seeking a Sales Manager to hire, build, and lead a brand-new team of Account Executives focused on net new logo acquisition. As a founding member of a new strategic sales motion, you will shape the go-to-market strategy while leading a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Build Your Team: Recruit, hire, and onboard top Account Executives.
- Define the Playbook: Architect and implement sales strategy and processes.
- Lead from the Front: Provide daily coaching, join calls, and refine strategies.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Meet/exceed sales targets, manage the pipeline and forecasts.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Marketing, RevOps, and Product teams.
- Master the Tools: Utilize Salesforce, Gong, and other modern AI-driven sales tools.
Who We're Looking For
We require 7+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with 3-4+ years in sales management. You should have a proven track record in building teams, developing playbooks, managing pipelines, and using Salesforce and modern sales technology. A true player-coach mentality and comfort with ambiguity are essential.
