Job Overview

Sprout Social is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst, Marketing on the FP&A team to support the Marketing organization. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you will act as a key bridge between Finance and Marketing leadership, enabling data-backed decision-making, optimizing spend and resourcing, and driving accountability around performance metrics.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic partnership with Marketing to align budgets and investments.
  • Lead annual budgeting, monthly re-forecasting, and spend tracking.
  • Monitor and analyze spend efficiency across marketing channels.
  • Create and maintain financial models, dashboards, and forecasts measuring campaign ROI, CAC, CLTV, CPL, etc.
  • Present actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Procurement, Ops, and Accounting teams.
  • Develop processes to enhance marketing financial controls and operational agility.

What You’ll Bring

You will need to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems with a structured mindset, and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills are required to translate data into actionable insights for cross-functional partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably with a focus on Marketing, Sales, or Revenue Operations.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis skills.
  • Deep understanding of key marketing metrics like CAC, ROI, CPL, CLTV.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, and financial systems such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or Vena.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL or data visualization tools and marketing analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital campaign performance metrics and marketing attribution models.
  • Prior exposure to executive-level reporting and strategic finance partnership.
