Role Summary

This hybrid position requires candidates in the Greater Austin, Texas Area or those willing to relocate. As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will work directly with strategic enterprise customers to deploy LLM-powered, agentic solutions tailored to address specific business challenges.

What You Will Do

  • Build and deploy LLM-powered solutions including agents, RAG pipelines, and tool integrations.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success teams.
  • Iterate on customer-facing use cases and optimize model performance.
  • Support customers during implementation, fine-tuning, and integration of LLMs.
  • Provide technical insights to influence product roadmap and feature prioritization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer-Embedded Engineering: Design and implement AI workflows based on customer needs.
  • Hands-on AI Systems Development: Optimize agentic AI systems and improve reliability.
  • Customer Feedback & Support: Serve as a point of contact and drive improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in ML, NLP, or software engineering with exposure to LLMs.
  • Strong Python programming and experience with libraries like Transformers, LangChain, and FastAPI.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and deploying ML models.
  • Ability to translate business problems into deployable AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with vector databases and prompt engineering best practices.

Nice-to-Have

  • Customer-facing consulting or forward-deployment experience.
  • Exposure to compliance, data governance, and MLOps frameworks.
