As we continue to grow, we're building a best-in-class in-house marketing department focused on long-term, sustainable growth. We're seeking an analytical strategic SEO leader with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, to own and scale our organic search strategy, helping more people find the legal guidance they need during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. This new team member will work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer to help shape the future of our marketing organization, including building out the firm’s in-house SEO function, while also playing a key role in expanding Springs Law Group's presence throughout Colorado.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, prioritize, and execute the firm's long-term SEO strategy and roadmap to increase qualified organic traffic, signed cases, and overall business growth
  • Own the firm's technical SEO roadmap, including website audits, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, structured data, migrations, and ongoing website optimization
  • Lead the content and local SEO strategy by identifying growth opportunities, managing editorial priorities, optimizing existing content, and expanding visibility across practice areas and geographic markets
  • Optimize the firm's presence across traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences, YouTube, and other emerging search platforms
  • Collaborate with the CMO, Marketing Coordinator, Web Developer, content team, and external partners to execute SEO initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Monitor SEO performance, analyze results, stay ahead of industry trends/ algorithm updates, and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Prepare executive-level SEO reports


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading SEO strategy with a proven track record of driving measurable organic growth
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
  • Strong expertise in technical, on-page, off-page, local, and AI search optimization
  • Experience leading cross-functional SEO initiatives from strategy through execution while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors
  • Deep understanding of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Screaming Frog, Semrush, or comparable SEO platforms
  • Ability to work Mountain Standard Time (MST) business hours
  • Accountable, proactive, and self-motivated with a growth mindset, the confidence to take ownership, and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership potential with the desire and ability to build and manage the firm's in-house SEO function as it grows


Bonus Experience:

  • Experience in the legal industry or another highly competitive professional services environment
  • Experience optimizing websites for AI-powered search and emerging search platforms
  • Experience leading SEO initiatives across content, web development, and digital marketing teams
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
