Role Overview
The Freight Dispute Claims Manager owns the end-to-end review and dispute of freight invoices, ensuring billing accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. Responsibilities include auditing high volumes of carrier invoices, identifying pricing and compliance issues, and partnering with carriers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire freight invoice audit and dispute process (~500 invoices/week).
- Identify billing discrepancies and pricing errors.
- Analyze freight data to drive cost savings and dispute recovery.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, analytics, and carriers.
- Improve dispute metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives.
Desired Experience & Skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with freight billing, carrier pricing, and tariffs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple disputes independently.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with data reporting tools and systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 per year, with potential additional benefits including equity, sign-on payments, medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and various wellness programs.
