Junior Security Analyst (Maternity Cover)

Job Purpose

The Junior Security Analyst at Spotlight Sports Group assists the wider team with BAU tasks and acts as the first line of communication for security, governance, risk and compliance. You will support staff with their compliance and governance needs, guided by the Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance team.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist the Information Security Team as needed.
• Learn to fill out and maintain documentation (DPIA, LIA, Vendor Assessments, etc.).
• Coordinate risk review/management and update the Risk Register.
• Act as a central communication hub across different companies.
• Support internal audits and run periodic security reports.
• Maintain written policies, records, and documentation.
• Serve as the first respondent for incidents and provide security advice.
• Deliver in-house/on-site training on Data Protection and Information Security Awareness.

Skills and Attributes

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work towards tight deadlines. Experience with Data Protection Act, GDPR, ITIL, ISO 27001 or similar frameworks and intuitive, analytical thinking are essential.
