Overview
Spotify is seeking a Senior User Researcher Experience to explore and deliver the future of Spotify’s experience in third-party AI agents and ecosystems. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how music, podcasts, and audiobooks are discovered and enjoyed globally in an AI-driven paradigm.
What You'll Do
- Drive human-centered insight in Partner AI research.
- Define and conduct research on AI assistants, multimodal devices, and partner ecosystems.
- Deliver evidence-based insights to shape product strategy and roadmap.
- Investigate emerging behaviours around voice-first and multimodal interactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
- Represent research in high-level discussions with executives and partners.
- Synthesise internal and external insights to create cohesive user experiences.
- Mentor peers and advance research capabilities within the team.
Who You Are
You are an expert researcher with deep industry experience and academic background in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, AI Interaction, or Social Science. With strong proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, you are passionate about AI-mediated experiences and have excellent communication skills with senior audiences.
Where You'll Be
This role is based in London or Stockholm with flexible work arrangements, including work-from-home options. Occasional travel and flexible meeting hours are required due to global partnerships.
