About the Role

Spotify is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager Data Platform to lead the product function for two teams focused on shaping the developer experience for data engineers and other data professionals. This role is critical to enabling high-speed and quality innovation within one of Spotify’s most exciting technical domains, especially in an era of rapid AI advancements.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and understand the needs of the data developer community.
  • Evaluate and deliver solutions by building, buying, or integrating tools.
  • Craft and own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution.
  • Track adoption and define critical metrics to drive incremental impact.
  • Build strong relationships with internal product and data teams.
  • Collaborate with other platform teams to shape overall developer experience.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and data science to deliver user-friendly solutions.
  • Modernize and automate processes using emerging AI capabilities.
  • Stay updated on trends and methodologies in data engineering and developer experience.
  • Act as a champion for data tooling within Spotify.

Who You Are

You bring over 5 years of product management experience, preferably with expertise in Data Platform or Developer Experience. With a technical background in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant engineering experience, you excel in storytelling, collaboration, and systems-thinking. You are driven to evaluate and apply new technologies, including AI, all while mentoring and supporting your team.

Where You'll Be

This role is based in Toronto and offers flexibility with hybrid work arrangements, combining remote work with occasional in-person meetings.
