Overview
Spotify’s Internal Audit & Risk team is seeking a Senior Analyst Internal Audit & Risk with a technological, engineering, or product management background. This role will implement audit strategy across the product lifecycle in an agile, international environment.
What You Will Do
- Advance Audit Procedures: Design and implement technical audit procedures using scripting (e.g., Python, SQL) and data analytics to drive continuous testing and automation.
- Support SOX Compliance: Lead testing of technology components within the SOX framework, including planning, walkthroughs, reporting, and improvements.
- Collaborate with Partners: Work with co-sourced providers, external auditors, and internal process owners for effective SOX testing.
- Implement Advisory Projects: Participate in assurance and advisory projects covering risk assessment, testing, and reporting.
- Deep Product Knowledge: Understand business strategies, product lifecycles, and processes of audited units.
- Consultative Guidance: Support partners with control deficiencies and process changes.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in an engineering, product management, or related technical field. Experience in technical audit or IT risk management is a merit. You are proficient in SQL and Python, familiar with SDLC and cloud infrastructure, and have strong project management and communication skills. A degree in a related field and professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, or CIA are advantageous.
Where You'll Be
This role is based in New York, NY or Stockholm, Sweden, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement requiring in-person attendance 2-3 days per week.
Compensation & Benefits
The United States base range for this role is $92,171 to $131,673 plus equity. Benefits include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, a 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 flexible paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
