Role Overview

The Machine Learning Engineer role on the Personalization (PZN) team at Spotify is focused on designing, building, and scaling LLM based solutions to enhance storytelling. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and productionize solutions for hundreds of millions of active users.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, evaluate, and deploy LLM solutions for storytelling.
• Collaborate with research, design, data science, product, and engineering teams.
• Prototype new approaches and productionize scalable solutions.
• Promote ML best practices across the organization.
• Engage with an active group of machine learning practitioners.

Who You Are

• Experienced ML practitioner with expertise in machine learning, NLP, and generative AI.
• Skilled in implementing production-grade ML systems at scale.
• Familiar with LLM production systems and human feedback mechanisms.
• Experienced with large-scale distributed data processing tools and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.

Where You'll Be

This role offers flexibility to work from anywhere within North America, operating in the Eastern Standard Time zone.

Compensation & Benefits

The United States base salary range for this position is $138,250 to $197,500 plus equity. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid parental leave, 401(k) plan, monthly meal allowance, generous paid time off and flexible holidays, plus paid sick leave.
