About The Role

Sporty Group is seeking an experienced Motion Designer to join our Marketing Design team. In this role, you will be crucial in supporting Sporty’s continued growth across new and existing markets by creating engaging, high-quality motion-led creative for digital marketing channels and social platforms. You will collaborate closely with marketing, performance, and brand teams to bring creative concepts to life, producing motion content that balances strong visual storytelling with performance-driven outcomes. This position, guided by the Marketing Design Lead and Senior Marketing and Motion Designers, is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys owning projects from concept through to delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating visually engaging motion content for various digital marketing channels including Google Ads, social media, and display advertising.
  • Collaborating with marketing, performance marketing, and brand teams to align creative output with business objectives.
  • Owning the entire motion design process, from initial concept development to final delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely completion.
  • Contributing innovative ideas and creative thinking to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of motion content.
  • Staying current with the latest motion design trends, industry best practices, and emerging tools or technologies.
  • Working closely with data and analytics teams to integrate performance insights into creative decision-making.
  • Supporting talent acquisition efforts by identifying and recruiting skilled design talent as the team expands.

What You'll Bring

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a motion design role, demonstrated by a strong portfolio.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience producing motion content for digital marketing and social platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Solid project management abilities, including task prioritization and managing multiple simultaneous projects.
  • A keen eye for design aesthetics and compelling visual storytelling.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

  • Experience working in performance-driven or data-informed marketing environments.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting more junior designers.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of digital marketing formats and platform specific requirements.
