About the iOS Engineer Role at Sporty Group

As an iOS Engineer at Sporty Group, you will take ownership of existing iOS applications, implementing new features, building new UI pages, and testing applications for release into new regions to align with our global growth plans. You'll collaborate with a globally spread team in an English-speaking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership and responsibility of existing iOS applications.
• Facilitate and release new versions of apps across several new regions.
• Build new end-to-end features on our platforms.
• Create dynamic new UIs to keep up with various global sporting events (e.g., World Cup, Football Euros, Olympics).

What Sporty Group Looks For

• 4+ years of experience writing clean code in Swift for iOS applications.
• Proven experience developing, delivering, and supporting native iOS applications.
• Proficiency in integrating REST APIs, push notifications, and multithreaded experiences.
• A deep understanding of multi-threading, memory management, networking, caching, performance optimisation, localisation, and security for mobile applications.
• Fluency in English, as Sporty Group operates in an English-speaking work environment.
