About the Role

Sporty Group is seeking a Communications & Growth Partnerships Lead to spearhead customer communications and regional marketing partnerships. This pivotal role combines channel optimization, localization strategies, and commercial partnerships to drive scalable growth across target markets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage marketing partnerships specifically across Africa & LATAM regions.
  • Optimize the performance of key communication channels, including WhatsApp, SMS, and email, focusing on delivery, open rates, click-through rates, and cost efficiency.
  • Align all communications initiatives with broader marketing, product, and customer lifecycle campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure effective localization of messaging, creatives, and campaigns for each market.
  • Plan and meticulously track regional activations and partnerships, encompassing strategic billboards, payment partnership campaigns, and affiliate marketing efforts.
  • Measure the return on investment (ROI) and overall performance across both owned communication channels and partner channels.
  • Onboard new communication channel partners and effectively manage existing Bulk SMS, email, and other communication providers to achieve cost optimization.

What You'll Bring

  • Over 6 years of professional experience in growth, communications, or partnerships roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience with various messaging platforms and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively across diverse regions and cultures.
  • A willingness to travel for local activations and in-depth market studies in both existing and emerging markets for Sporty Group.
  • A data-driven mindset coupled with a strong focus on execution.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is an essential requirement.
