About the Role
As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in securing systems, analyzing threats, and protecting digital infrastructure. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates looking to build a strong foundation in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and information security.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and system activity
- Assist in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies
- Support risk assessments and penetration testing under expert guidance
- Create, document, and update security policies and compliance reports
- Assist IT teams in investigating and responding to security incidents
- Research emerging threats, malware patterns, and attack techniques
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of firewalls, network security, and IDS/IPS systems
- Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or Kali Linux (preferred)
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
