About the role
About the Role
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in all operational aspects of the seasonal store.
- Ensure maximum sales and profitability through excellent guest services and staff development.
- Control expenses, shrinkage, and manage all merchandising and inventory.
- Assist with store setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Prior retail management experience is required.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours a day.
- Willingness to climb ladders, set up fixtures, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
