Role Overview: Lead Bartender
This position is integral to our Food & Beverage team, embodying exceptional Guest Services. As a Bartender, you will craft a memorable guest experience by expertly preparing cocktails, serving delicious food with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, and contributing to a positive bar atmosphere.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and thoughtful attentiveness.
- Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently.
- Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring all products are stocked and readily accessible.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
- Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all bar areas, including refrigeration and storage.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk in confined spaces for the entire shift.
- Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift, carry, and transport items weighing 50-75 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to operate food and beverage equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of Bartending School or a Bartending & Mixology Certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of bartender experience in a similar role and operation size; hotel experience is preferred.
- Certifications: Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification and Food Handler's Certification are required.
