About the Role of Google Web Analytics and Tagging Specialist at Spiralyze

Spiralyze is seeking a driven individual to join their Analytics Team as a Google Web Analytics and Tagging Specialist. This permanently remote position, based out of Noida, India, involves providing expert support to internal and external clients by implementing complex tracking solutions and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing conversion tracking for forms, buttons, e-commerce, and other critical actions.
  • Verifying and sanity-checking conversion tracking implementations to ensure accuracy.
  • Debugging tracking issues and efficiently applying fixes.
  • Checking and resolving issues related to test measurement tools like Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, and Hotjar.
  • Creating customized reports using Google Analytics and other data sources.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in web analytics and tagging, demonstrating extreme initiative and enthusiasm for problem-solving. Key qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years of experience managing Google Tags (GTM) for web properties, covering implementation, coding, testing, and maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA3/GA4).
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript is required.
  • Proven experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Amplitude, coupled with a deep understanding of digital analytics and web traffic metrics.
  • Good-level knowledge in Web Analytics strategy, requirements, implementation, validation, and reporting, specifically with Google Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of third-party tagging and pixel creation.
  • Demonstrated experience in transitioning Google Analytics accounts from Universal Analytics (UA) to GA4.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English communication.
