Job Overview

We are seeking a Python Backend Developer for one of our client projects: an AI-powered influencer discovery and advertising placement platform. In this role, you will build and optimize scalable backend services powering search, data interactions, and integrations with external systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Handle structured and unstructured data with efficient JSON-based flows.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, S3) for scalability and performance.
  • Integrate and optimize AI-driven components within backend architecture.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams for end-to-end feature delivery.
  • Maintain code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure a Python-first approach.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python for scalable backend systems.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Proficiency in handling JSON data structures and APIs.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration within backend systems is a plus.
  • Availability within PST working hours with overlap until 5:30PM Chicago time.
