Solution Sales Executive - Operational Risk Management

About the Role

The Solution Executive – Operational Risk Management (ORM) will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth across the Middle East region by identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities with both prospective and existing clients. This role requires fluency in Arabic to effectively engage with key stakeholders across the territory.

Focused on positioning and selling Sphera’s ORM software solutions, the Solution Executive will align offerings to customer needs and strategic priorities, delivering tailored value propositions that support long-term client success. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Solution Executive will lead the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to close, while building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships. This individual will embody the company’s values, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty.

What You’ll Do

  • Sell to Enterprise accounts, with a focus on hunting new accounts.
  • Execute against yearly sales goals.
  • Qualify and disqualify new business opportunities while identifying customer pain points.
  • Deliver executive Sphera point-of-view dialogues.
  • Conduct hunting activities, including cold calling, attending conferences, and trade shows.
  • Leverage experience selling software for Control of Work (CoW), Master Data Management, or Advanced Risk Assessment (ARA).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts.
  • Drive revenue growth across assigned business lines, identifying revenue drivers and metrics.
  • Deliver solution presentations to key customers.
  • Develop enterprise software license proposals.
  • Negotiate enterprise software contracts.
  • Understand customer decision processes.
  • Create closing plans for forecasted business.
  • Close business in a timely manner.
  • Fully comprehend the Sphera unique value proposition.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of 5+ years of successful experience in selling Enterprise Software and Technology solutions to the Global 2000.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in complex sales environments.
  • Experience selling into risk, EHS, compliance, or governance functions (highly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Operational Risk Management (ORM) concepts, such as risk identification and assessment, incident management, internal controls and audits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in closing large and complex sales; encourages and contributes to creative deal making.
  • Strong hunter skills with experience in negotiations, successful partnerships, and/or joint ventures.
  • Experience implementing successful sales strategies in changing markets, understanding competitor strategies.
  • Ability to adapt and leverage products, services, and operations to effectively compete.
  • Assigns the highest priority to customer satisfaction and listening to customers.
  • Proven ability to relate successfully to a variety of people externally and internally, and to form strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and navigate complex, heavily matrixed organizations.
  • Proficiency with MS applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Desire to function as an entrepreneur within Sphera.
  • Consistently met or surpassed yearly quotas.
  • Fluency in Arabic is required.
