DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Developer

SPECTRUM AG, a global provider in electrical, test, measurement, and communication technology, is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Developer. The company, headquartered in Munich, supplies products for sectors such as aerospace, defense, telecommunications, automotive, and electronics.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Development: Participate in the agile team covering the entire software lifecycle from CI/CD to release management for secure communication systems.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop code and scripts to automate build, test, and release processes.
  • Responsibility & Coordination: Independently plan and implement work packages while coordinating with other development teams.
  • Quality & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous team improvement.
  • Innovation & Technology: Monitor current technology trends and integrate new approaches into existing solutions.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience in software development and DevOps.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills and proficiency with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD platforms.
  • Programming experience in C/C++, Python, or Rust, with familiarity in build tools like GCC and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Team player with good communication skills in German and English.
