Job Description

Overview

Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support mission-critical applications in an Agile environment. This full-time role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining modern cloud-native systems with emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain APIs within a serverless AWS environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, QA, and development teams
  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code using frameworks like Mocha/Chai
  • Improve system performance, scalability, and availability
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development cycles
  • Support ongoing feature enhancements, UI improvements, and system updates

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of backend and/or full-stack development experience, proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript, hands-on experience with AWS services including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, S3, SNS, SQS, and experience with ElasticSearch. Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred: Experience supporting federal or government technology programs.

Additional Information

This is a fully remote, full-time W2 position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. All candidates are subject to a comprehensive background check.
