A Day in the Life

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer Cypress, you will:

  • Lead the Sparq QA Automation team and collaborate with client QA and engineering teams.
  • Review requirements and participate in architecture and design reviews for scalable automation frameworks.
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal solutions for cross-browser and end-to-end testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress integrated with tools such as Postman, JMeter, and BrowserStack.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines integrating Cypress tests within cloud environments and containerized frameworks.
  • Develop reusable Cypress frameworks and libraries for web and mobile testing.
  • Monitor, triage, and maintain automated test results for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with developers for debugging and root-cause analysis of issues.
  • Document and manage test cases ensuring traceability across requirements and defect tracking.
