The Opportunity: Registered Social Worker (Independent Contractor)
Spark Lifecare is seeking a passionate and committed Registered Social Worker to join our network of healthcare providers as an Independent Contractor. This role focuses on providing in-home support in the Hamilton area, specializing in psycho-social rehabilitation and assessment, complex mental health, case management, neurorehabilitation, and/or chronic pain.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements to Succeed
- Provide in-home support and counselling for individuals of all developmental ages (child, youth, young adults, adults) and families.
- Specialized experience in psycho-social rehabilitation, complex mental health, case management, neurorehabilitation, and/or chronic pain.
- Maintain registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
- Possession of professional liability insurance.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for in-home visits.
- Demonstrate strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.
- Bilingualism (especially French, Arabic, or Persian) is a valuable asset.
