Overview

SpaceX is revolutionizing space exploration and broadband internet with Starlink, the world’s largest satellite constellation. In this role as Sr. Sourcing Specialist, PCB Starlink, you will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive production flow and optimize the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices.
  • Forecast demand and manage material inflow.
  • Track high risk components and vendor performance.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs for sourcing strategies.
  • Develop supplier networks to reduce cost and lead time.
  • Manage outsource fabrication projects and contractual documents.
  • Conduct onsite vendor capability reviews and performance management.
  • Utilize negotiations to maximize value and minimize risk.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience in Engineering, Purchasing, Contract negotiation, Material planning, operations, or technical procurement with PCB/PCBA/electrical components.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with PCB or substrate fabrication.
  • Understanding of PCBA, contract manufacturing and electronic packaging.
  • Experience managing high-spend portfolios ($10M+).
  • Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
  • Proficient in MRP/ERP systems and BOM management.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder levels.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Additional Requirements

This role may require extended hours, weekend work, and up to 25% travel. ITAR compliance is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range is $90,000 to $115,000 per year with additional benefits including stock options, comprehensive medical coverage, retirement plans, and paid leave. Company shuttles are provided for Seattle to SpaceX Redmond office commutes.
