Classified Cyber Assurance Analyst

Overview

SpaceX is on a mission to enable human life on Mars. The Classified Cyber Assurance Analyst will drive the classified cyber assurance program forward by focusing on assessment, governance, and communications.

Responsibilities

The candidate will manage the complete RMF A&A lifecycle process for assigned SpaceX classified information systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory, policy, and contractual requirements. They will identify and implement new requirements, stay updated with emerging practices, and plan audits and assessments. Additionally, the role involves providing expert guidance on tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Security Center, Service Now (SNOW), and eMASS, as well as mentoring team members and building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of experience managing cyber assurance for classified systems/networks
• Experience with NIST 800-53, DAAPM, JSIG, and ICD 503 frameworks

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Experience with NRO A&A and JSIG processes
• Subject matter expertise in the RMF 7 step process
• Experience with COMSEC procedures and obtaining ATO(s)
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure and time-constrained environments

Additional Requirements

Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends, travel locally and domestically, and maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required.
