The Sales Territory Manager, North Germany will be covering the Northern region of Germany. The territory includes all ZIP codes beginning with 2, as well as 30, 31 and 38. The ideal location of the applicant is within the Hamburg, Bremen, Hanover triangle.
Your core objective will be to ensure professional sales service to customers in the territory, continuously increase the customer base by acquiring new customers and target groups, and meet or exceed the yearly sales budget, all in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Visit pre-qualified customers for on-site acquisition.
- Perform a professional needs assessment with customers.
- Carry out superior product presentations on site.
- Provide technical advice to customers, communicate product advantages/benefits, sell solutions.
- Offer demo devices for a limited period of time and follow up.
- Negotiate and finalize sales and service contracts.
- Establish a reference list for the territory, identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and use them for sales purposes.
- Assist/participate in pre-qualifying leads together with office team members.
- Record level of customer satisfaction and address issues with superior.
- Work with the sales team and Sales Manager Germany to draft new sales and marketing concepts (for new target groups, product launch, etc.).
- Collect and communicate competitive and market information to superior.
- Economical route planning to minimize empty runs and maximize the number of visits.
- Document all important information in the CRM system.
- Cut quotes, create sales opportunities in CRM and track them very closely.
- Draft and assess with Manager activity plan for the own territory and implementation of all measures required to achieve targets.

- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device industry, preferably cardiology.
- Excellent knowledge of the customer target groups: Hospitals, MVZ, GP.
- Proven track record in sales covering a territory as sales representative growing sales numbers and customer base for capital equipment and service programs.
- Hands-on mentality and mindset, able to resolve issues.
- Straight forward in communication, high level of honesty and integrity along with strong work ethics.
- Good knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements: ISO 13485, MDD, MDR.
