The Work You'll Do


Position Overview

The Web Development Specialist – Digital Engineering & MarTech is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable web platforms across WordPress and Drupal ecosystems. This role combines strong CMS expertise with modern frontend capabilities (including TypeScript) and marketing technology integrations to deliver high-performing, data-driven digital experiences. The position requires a balance of hands-on development, architectural thinking, and cross-functional collaboration, with ownership of web performance, integrations, and analytics implementation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead development and ongoing maintenance of WordPress and Drupal platforms, including custom themes, modules, and plugins
  • Build modern, scalable frontend components using JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Implement and manage analytics tracking frameworks, including Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4
  • Design and manage integrations with third-party platforms such as CRM, marketing automation, and design systems
  • Architect and maintain REST APIs, webhooks, and headless or decoupled CMS solutions
  • Optimize websites for performance (Core Web Vitals), SEO, and accessibility standards
  • Define and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, analytics, and design teams to deliver business-aligned solutions
  • Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers

Skills Required

Core CMS & Backend
  • 3+ years of experience in WordPress and/or Drupal development
  • Strong proficiency in PHP (OOP) and deep understanding of CMS architecture (themes, hooks, modules)
Frontend & Modern Development
  • Solid experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Experience with React (preferred) or similar modern frameworks
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS
Architecture & Integration
  • Experience with REST APIs, headless CMS, and decoupled architectures
