Job Description

Sr Administrative Assistant, Revenue Management

Southwest Airlines is seeking a Sr Administrative Assistant to support the Revenue Management department. This role provides essential executive support to Directors and Senior Leaders who oversee critical functions such as Yield, Pricing, Operations Research, Ancillary, and Reporting Performance & Analytics. The primary goal is to optimize revenue while upholding Southwest’s Low Fare Brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex calendars and coordinate meetings and cultural events.
  • Build and edit PowerPoint presentations.
  • Support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, high-visibility department.
  • Anticipate needs, manage communications, and prepare leaders with necessary information.
  • Assist in fostering a strong, collaborative culture within the team that drives financial performance.
  • Support and lead large event planning, including department projects and cultural activities.
  • Compose and edit correspondence, potentially under a leader's signature.
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and ensure databases are up to date.
  • Serve as backup to Executive Assistants.
  • Own routine department processes and programs, seeking efficiencies and improvements.

Additional Information:

This role requires a commitment to Southwest's vibrant Corporate Campus culture, emphasizing camaraderie, collaboration, and innovation. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work from our Dallas, TX Headquarters facility during business hours. U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. is required, with no future work authorization sponsorship available.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Advanced level experience in Administrative Support or Customer Service related fields.
  • Skilled in high-level customer service delivery and office management.
  • Proficiency in MS Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with a high sense of urgency.
  • Proactive in seeking creative and efficient ways to perform tasks.
  • Understanding of Southwest Airlines' mission, vision, and departmental functions.

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary ranging from $60,650 - $67,400 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Benefits include flight privileges, Retirement Savings Plan with company contributions, potential annual Profit Sharing, competitive health insurance (including for pets), and coverage starting on the first day of employment.
