This role is offered as a remote workplace position with possible travel for trainings, meetings, and conferences. Note that certain states are ineligible for regular off-site work. Duties and Responsibilities
The intern will work full-time as a Cloud DevOps Engineer Intern within the Technology Department across various teams including:
- Cloud Infrastructure Development Team: Support and maintain cloud platform using AWS and Terraform.
- Enterprise Cloud Core Team: Enhance cloud connectivity with cost optimizations.
- Crew Platform Team: Support mission critical AWS cloud systems for 30,000+ employees.
Duties include creating and maintaining enterprise-level cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and platforms, working with cloud computing, continuous integration, storage, databases, messaging, and security.
Qualifications
Educational requirements include progress toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in relevant fields. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and eligibility criteria are required. Preferred experience includes AWS Cloud services, Terraform, Docker, GitLab, Python, Agile methodologies, and previous internship or project experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Internship is full-time (40 hours/week) with a consistent schedule. Pay is $25-$29 per hour, adjusted by academic progress. Stipends and equipment (laptop) may be provided.
