The Opportunity
We are seeking online adjunct faculty within our Undergraduate Computer Science program for our Global Campus. This remote role (available in all US states except California) involves engaging students in an asynchronous and inclusive learning environment by providing guidance and feedback in pre-developed online courses.
What You Will Do
- Prioritize student engagement with timely responses and proactive support.
- Share expertise and provide supplementary materials to enhance learning.
- Offer feedback and assessments to promote student growth.
- Facilitate inclusive online discussions and encourage interaction.
Courses Taught
CS-305: Software Security and CS-465: Full Stack I
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in computer science or software development.
- Proficiency with Java, Eclipse, GIT/GITHUB.
- Experience with MEAN stack, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MongoDB, RESTful API, JSON, SQL.
Compensation & Benefits
Standard compensation is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course or $2,500 per 10-week graduate course, with actual pay determined at time of course assignment. Benefits include employer-funded retirement, free tuition program, and professional development opportunities.
