Job Description

Overview

The Administration Officer - Emergency Department plays a key role in supporting safe, timely emergency administrative care at Liverpool Hospital. This temporary part time role (20 hours per week) requires working rotating shifts across mornings, afternoons, and nights until 02.Nov.2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality administrative and customer service support in a fast paced clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Manage accurate registration, admissions and data entry using hospital systems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, clinicians, and colleagues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all procedures in the Emergency Department.

Requirements

Applicants should have completed a Business Administration course or possess extensive administrative experience. Strong computer and data entry skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Must be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
