Achieve Something Great in the Birthing Unit
Join a dedicated team supporting women and children within the Birthing Unit at Campbelltown Hospital. As an Administration Clinical Support Officer Level 3, you’ll contribute to a warm, fast‑paced environment where your work directly supports midwives, the Midwifery Unit Manager, and the multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Data entry and report preparation.
- Invoicing, filing, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Secretariat support for meetings.
- Supporting rosters, recruitment processes, and daily ward coordination.
- Assisting with stock management and providing relief for ward clerks.
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities to enhance quality and efficiency.
Your initiative and ability to make sound day‑to‑day decisions will help the unit deliver reliable, patient‑focused outcomes, ensuring staff have the information and materials needed for effective patient care.

You’ll excel in this Administration Clinical Support Officer Level 3 role if you can demonstrate:
- Resilience and strong organisational skills, managing competing priorities in a high‑volume environment.
- Ability to collaborate with managers to problem‑solve daily challenges and support their accountabilities.
- Confident and courteous communication with people at all levels, both verbally and in writing, with strong attention to detail and accurate spelling.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Adaptability, a commitment to accuracy, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A positive role model who upholds organisational values through your actions and interactions.
If you don’t yet hold a Certificate III in Health Administration, you’ll undertake this qualification while working in the role. If you’re flexible, motivated, and ready to contribute meaningfully to a high‑performing clinical team, we’d love to hear from you.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please address the following criteria:
- Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- Demonstrated computer literacy including, spreadsheets and database software in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment.
