South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking an Administration Officer (Level 3) to join their Sexual Health and Blood Borne Viruses Service.
Where You'll Be Working
Population and Community Health (PaCH) is part of SESLHD and provides community health services to individuals, families, and the wider community across South Eastern Sydney. PaCH operates from various district hospitals, community-based facilities, and specialist clinics, collaborating with other service providers within SESLHD.

About the Role
SESLHD's vision is 'exceptional care, healthier lives'. The Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Services (SHBBV) is a leading service in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of STIs and blood borne viruses. SHBBV serves approximately 28,000 clients annually across five SESLHD sites, including The Albion Centre (Surry Hills). The team comprises diverse professionals, making SHBBV one of Australia's largest services of its kind.
Services include STI screening, HIV and Hepatitis management, HIV prevention, gender-affirming hormone therapy, contraception, and terminations. The role focuses on supporting priority populations identified in NSW HIV and STI strategies.
As an Administration Officer, you will ensure high-quality reception and customer service. This includes booking appointments, registering and checking in patients, managing patient flow, and collaborating with clinical staff. Key responsibilities involve managing inquiries, accurate patient data entry, Medicare billing, and contributing to safety and quality initiatives. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential for maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
