Overview
The Principal Public Procurement Training Executive role at Sourcewell is focused on generating revenue through representing Sourcewell’s enterprise solutions. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with public agencies and deliver subject matter expertise related to the procurement lifecycle. This position includes mentoring team members and public procurement decision influencers as well as presenting at public events.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify learning needs for public agencies by analyzing data and performance gaps.
- Run tailored training programs and prepare related content.
- Resolve complex queries regarding policies and procedures.
- Manage compliance risk within established operational protocols.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with public agencies.
- Support internal and external meetings representing Government Accounts.
- Participate in professional development through training and coaching.
Additional Information
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of five years experience in public procurement or related fields, and must possess public speaking experience along with strong operational knowledge. Preference is given to those experienced in public agencies, municipal government, or educational settings.
Location & Work Arrangement
This is a remote position subject to Sourcewell's telecommuting policies with occasional travel to Staples, MN for meetings and professional development.
